Concert @ G.R. Folk Arts Society
This is a quick announcement to say that Robin & Linda Williams will be appearing at the Grand River Folk Arts Society on October 11. This is a nationally known duo and well worth seeing. Click over to our statewide calendar for more details.

Hello from the webmaster! I just received an email that I wanted all the site visitors to know about: a member of the Stockdale Family Bluegrass Band wrote today to say that the hit television show on ABC called Wife Swap is featuring the Stockdale family in an episode to re-air on Weds., Sept. 23, 2008. This episode ran once earlier this year. If you missed it, it's on again! For more info, click over to their website at: www.stockdalefamilyband.com

Beginner's Jam Session
Be sure and make plans to attend the new monthly jam session being led by Karen Sierveld. We call the jam sessions "Pass It On", and they occur on the last Monday of the month at the Comstock Park Library.

Attention Mandolin players! Be sure and make plans to attend the upcoming mandolin workshop, located at the Guitar Center in Kentwood. This workshop will be taught by Bill Van Liere of the band Kinfyre. Bill is a phenomenal picker and you're sure to learn something. The workshop is June 19 from 7 to 8pm.
